There’s something so magical about capturing a growing family, especially when it’s during a golden sunset at a brand-new location! I recently had the sweetest maternity session at Thomas Farm Preserve in Watkinsville, GA, and it was nothing short of perfect.

This beautiful family—mom, dad, and their adorable one-year-old little boy—joined me for an evening filled with soft golden light, lush green grass, and peaceful trails. It was my first time shooting at Thomas Farm Preserve, and I instantly fell in love with the setting. The open fields, winding gravel paths, and tall trees created the perfect backdrop for these timeless moments.

We started the session in the grass, where their little boy had so much fun exploring. He was full of curiosity and giggles, giving me the most precious candid moments. Seeing him snuggle up with mom and dad made my heart melt! The love between this sweet family was undeniable, and I could just feel the excitement as they prepare to welcome their newest addition.

As the sun dipped lower, we moved to the pretty gravel path, where the golden light wrapped around them so beautifully. Mom absolutely glowed in the warm sunset, and I made sure to capture those intimate moments between her and dad as they soaked in this special season of life. The way he looked at her—pure love!

I’m beyond grateful to have documented this milestone for them, and I can’t wait to meet their little one soon! Thomas Farm Preserve is truly a hidden gem, and I have a feeling I’ll be back here for more sessions.
